Struggling for 5 months with what i *think* is a hemmie **PIC INCLUDED**

Hi

I'm starting to really question myself and looking for some kindred spirits.

I have been struggling with hemmies for around 5 months now and its really starting to get me down.

I went to see my GP and she examined me, said that she couldn't feel any hemmies and to continue with conservative treatments such as sitz baths and ice.

I called her back because i was still in pain, she then prescribed me anusol HC which worked for a short time but now the issue is back again!

I have pain/itching and general soreness, its not out all the time its worse after a bowel movement as it prolapses and also if i spread my cheeks then it appears easily so i think its just on the anal verge.

I am not starting to doubt myself though as my GP is telling me she cant feel any hemmies so im looking for advice, does this look like a hemmie to others?

Looks like it. See a gastrointestinal doc. They have a scope in practise
