Struggling to accept these symptoms are all because of menopause

Hi ladies

I hope you are all ok.

Does anyone else struggle to accept that all of these symptoms are caused by menopause? The last 3 months have been the worst of my life. Up until the end of September I was running everyday and had energy and felt good. Almost overnight I woke up with feelings of intense anxiety and constant high heart rate and palpitations. I've been to the drs so many times and had so many tests done and nothing has been found. I ended up in hospital at the end of november with an SVT, my heart rate went to 210BPM for an hour. Was so scary. No damage to the heart thankfully. I have also recently had covid and everything seems to be 100 time worse now.

I keep getting stabbing pains in my stomach/abdomen (had an ultrasound and MRI and all normal), weird head pressure which goes into my ear, jaw and neck. One eye keeps going blurry. Hip and back ache. Reflux. I feel 100 years old and am struggling to walk up the stairs. I look in the mirror and feel like I look haggered. I'm on Beta Blockers at the moment for the high heart rate and this has helped slightly with the anxiety but I still feel so down and have no enthusiasm for anything. The future seems bleak if this is what I'm going to feel like. I've tried body identical HRT (estrogel) but this was at the height of my anxiety and I feel like it made it worse so stopped.

Sorry for the long post. Does anyone have any advice or feel the same? I have to keep reminding myself that if there was anything seriously wrong with me they would've found it by now with the numerous tests and scans I've had. I'm 46.

Thank you x

Hi there im the same age as you, mine started at 43, almost overnight aswell, fatigue, tachycardia, drunk feeling, unsteadiness, pins and needles, heavy limbs and so on, hot flush upon awaking in mornings, I too had everything checked out, my heart , ct, ultrasound, head ct for the head pressure and every blood test you can imagine, im alot better now but could barely function, I still don't feel how I did before all this happened, I just try to live and ignore it now as much as possible, as long as heart rate doesn't go back to that again and heavy limbs don't come back, I can live with that, my heart still spikes at least once a day but not too high levels like before, I was out of breath aswell, never felt so ill in my life, I was given b12 injections as I was low and I also have thyroid disease, didn't do so well with the injections as they amplified everything, I wish I could feel the way I did before, oh and I still have regular period, bar when all this started they went haywire, hope this helps, I don't won't to take Hrt, and my doct probably wouldn't prescribe anyway as last hormone tests said I was fine, NOT
