Hello Buddy, does it happen to be on the side of your face that touches the pillow most?

It reminds me of when my derm problems started and after a lot of detective work , one of my GPs suggested that I should change my detergent. It wasn't that per se but I ended up having patch testing and discovered that I am allergic to formaldehyde and some of the formaldehyde releasers - there are 6. I just avoid them all now.

Some manufacturers use formaldehyde releasers in their products, so I avoid those.

My Dermatologist gave me a 'very potent' steroid cream to use, which along with removing the formaldehyde etc from my regimen, has made life much more tolerable.

Very potent steroid cream is probably not appropriate for your face, but a less potent cream, like Betnovate [Dermovate is very potent] should be ok for you under supervision.

I subsequently developed a different disease and ended up taking oral steroids, which knocked the rashes on the head.

But try talking to your GP and see if he will prescribe Betnovate cream for you and try changing your clothes washing detergent. Good luck!

best thing is not to scratch or irritate the area

I would try some tea tree oil as it reduces inflammation, after that wears off use some light lotion or coconut oil. hope ur feelin better homie
