Struggling with very bad periods, advice please

Hi there,
I need some advice please.
I’m 36years old, started my period at age 12.
Everything was normal until about 23 when I started having sex.
(Yea I know, I grew up with a dad from the 1700's and a very small town)
After a few months using condoms, my periods stopped.
I had all symptoms as if I was pregnant, but the stick test and even blood test came back negative
The doctor put me on a pill. After about a month, I had heavy bleeding and chunky stuff come out.
After that, my periods last 3 days, with very little bleeding.
I’ve been to about 5 gynies since then. They tell me my hormones are fine.
That I have insulin resistance. But nothing else is wrong.
I have extreme pain, when I get my period. Sharp pains shoot down my legs, I can’t walk or even move.
As I got older, the pain is a little less, but everything else has remained the same.
For 8 years I tried to fall pregnant. I don’t have money, and no medical aid. So, I’ve never had tests done.
I’m now divorced. And at the age where I don’t think I’ll fall pregnant. (Which I really want)
But from February till June this year, I had no period at all. July, I had terrible headaches, bad breakouts, and my lower back was so sore and swollen, I couldn’t walk.
A week later my period started, and if there was bleeding for half a day, it was a lot.
August has been the same.
I’m trying to get back on my feet, and have no way of paying for a specialist at the moment.
Could anyone please give me some advice.
One doctor told me I might have PCOS. If I google, I have a lot of the symptoms.
But other than that. I have no clue what is going on.
I am overweight, and need to lose about 30kgs currently. This is extremely hard. Diets (28day, and banting, and even following a dietician) has not helped at all.
I lose about 5 to 8kgs then nothing.
Walking and "bootcamp" somehow, I pick up weight, which is just totally depressing.
Please if anyone could give me some advice, then at least I could know where to look to get my body sorted out.
Thank you

I believe you could try hormone tablets. Speak to your GP.
