Stuff in ear via Eustacian tube.

Help! A tablet went up my ear - I am not joking.

This is the second time that this has happened. Last time I developed bad ear infections for 9 months. There must be something wrong with the structure of my Eustacian tube - i.e. large opening. Has anyone heard of this happening to other people? Is there any way for an ENT man to take a look at the opening to the Eustacian tube? It seems to be a hidden structure.
