Stuffy nose, pressure behind nose, with high blood pressure and pulse, anyone?

I have not had decompression surgery yet and am in the process of getting fully diagnosed. An MRA from a few days ago showed evidence of CM, and I've since had a followup MRI to get more detail. I've been really sick for the last two years, and this process started about ten years ago.
My most uncomfortable symptoms have been a stuffy nose, with pressure building behind my nose, and this is always coupled with blood pressure spikes, elevated heart rate, tinnitus and anxiety. Any little stressor will set it off.
Has anyone else experienced this CM symptom, and if so, was surgery able to help resolve it? For me, that alone would be worth the risks. I'd feel like I had my life back. Thanks for any feedback you can give. :-)

Yes, thats Chiari, I used to detest decompression, but after sufering from sometime, I finally took my specialist advice, I never looked back since, that was the wright decision I made AS I HAVE MY LIFE BACK...!!!!, I am on recovery period (3rd months) never feel better ..I enjoy my new life..but I still take my life easy as the recovering period is 6 - 7 months..so I listened to my health care professional advice ..I wont even lift any thing more than 2 kgs of weight, I just started walking last week.., I will do it each day increase the lenght and time.
So, each individual is different, but if you decided to have surgery, make sure you chose the right specialist who has done so many decompression - GOOD LUCK
