Get a doctor that specializes in the surgery you want. like you my gynologist told me i would need to get a hysterectomy and i told her no there are other options even though she new i wanted kids. And then she told me a second time that's when i told her i wsnted to see a doctor that specialized in removing fibrids. I had done my research so i knew i had options. The doctor that i saw agreed with me i was 36 and i wanted kids. But i wanted laparoscopic myomectomy because it was less invasive and supposedly less hours. The doctor said he didn't know how my uterus would be i was thinking i never heard that when i was reading info about it🤔😒. Needless to say he send me to get an mri and a abdominal ultrasound. To make it short i guess i was a good candidate but i had one as big as a soft ball that was at the back that might be hard to get with the laparoscopic myomectomy but i gad a bigger one that was as big as a canalop😲 that was right in the middle which i beleived that was the one that caused my heavy bleeding and horrialbe 2 cramping and that Bich also cause painful intercourse and bleeding😲😔😕😒😢. My fibriods were everywhere. I was told 4 but 8. looking at my records 7.7cm is the largest but the doctor said i had one as big as a canalop and a soft ball. So i guess a smaller canalop. Now that I'm looking at it they aren't as big as the ones I've been reading about. Then why couldn't they do the laparoscopic myomectomy 🤔🤔😡😠😡😠😠😡😤😬. I belive these doctors like to take the easy rode. It's easier to make a huge cut instead of looking and searching through small hoes😡😠😡😠😡😡😠😠😡😤😤😤😤😤😤😤. I know my open myomectomy is done but i eant to know why the laparoscopic myomectomy wasn't done and they tried to make excuses to why they opened me up saying i had 8 and they were everywhere😒. EXCUSES. If you're not comfortable satisfied GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!OR 3,4,5,6 if you have the money GO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!!!! I'M telling you now i regret this open myomectomy😢😭😭😭😱. I would of veen more satisfied if they would have tried the laparoscopic myomectomy like we have spoken about. I don't believe my doctor tried like she said she would and that's what p***es me off. But next time i go to my 3rd post op I'm going to see who i can talk about this with😒. You said they don't won't to do a myomectomy well tell them you want to speak to a doctor who specializes in myomectomy. Or if you can go somewhere else. That was my problem to i was ready to get rid of these little monsters that i didn't want to or care to try other treatments. Even though they never offerec other options. I say google! Google is your best friend. I've been reading online safer procedure called LAAM-BUAO i don't know if they do this procedure here but ask you doctor. And google and get all the info you can write it down and go see you doctor with all these facts. AND IT'S LESS RECOVERY🙄🤗🤗🤗🙌🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. GOODLUCK🙄

But seems like the biggest is 7.7 so i guess that's the right in the middle of my uterus😬 that gave me heavy bleeding horrilble cramps and hurting during intercourse one time had be bleeding for almost to days after intercourse😲😩😢😭😭😭😭😩😳 never again😤🙅🏾. The biggest one sit rigjt above my navel i could never feel it but sometimes i would feel around my stomach and i could feel it. Weeks or a month before my surgery I would get these horrible excruciating cramps. Once it sunt my to the emergency room. Had to be at work😒 but i called in and said i couldn't make it my manger wasn't to understanding even though he said his wife had those but anyways. Woke up around 8 am with really bad cramps HORRIBLE BACK PAINS only on the right side. I have never experinced this before well actually i had years ago was on New Years Day it was my birthday could you imagine🙍🏾i had went to a party with my a friend i use to have and my sister started to feel cramping followed by having to use the restroom #2😞 and cold sweats. a couple minutes passed my friend offered to take me home. OMG it felt like somebody was pulling my insides out i have never been in so much pain before.

If somebody would have offerd me a million dollars to walk a couple houses down i would have acceted it😢😢😢. It lasted about 2 hours tried taking ibprophen decided to crush it so it would work faster not a good idea as soon as i tired swallowing it i threw up anyways ended up putting a heating pad on. Didn't know how long i slept but i woke up to to the heatung pad still on my somach but no pain. Like i was saying the day i went to the emergency rooom i waited till 2pm to call my uncle crying to take me to the hospital i couldn't take it no more i couldn't barley talk. 40 mins latter my uncle drove me to thw emergency room. My vitals were over the roof i don't remember the numbers but they were very high. By the time my uncle picked me up it wasn't hurting that bad but i still wanted to go because that pain was insane. I knew something was wrong with me. I waited at least 2 hours to get taken to the back well before they took my blood made me pee in the cup. After i went to the back they gave me 3 units of blood because my blood level was at a 4 because i was anemic. I was taking these birth control pills that was suppose to help with the heavy bleeding but it was prolonging my periods i would be on my period for 3 weeks almost a month. I had called before and asked one of the nurses and the told me to go to the emergency room but i didn't go. like i was saying they gave me 3 units of blood i stayed there 2 or 3 days.

2 or 3 days passed i dont remember I went back to the emergency room because thighs,legs and feet were extremely swollen again waited till i went to the back they asked a bunxh of question about my breathing, am i breathing to fast or slow do i get tired easily can i hear my heart beat. The answer was yes to all these question. I felt to tired at work i didn't feel like doing nothing but lay in bed watch 2 gours of tv and go to sleep. To make things short i had to stay for 2 or 3 days again i was given to much blood had fluids in my lungs they gave me these pills to make me pee alot. I already pee alot because of my fibriods now imagine hiw much i had to go to the restroom with these pills. I bet people thought i was on something as much as i went to the restroom. I even told the nurse i should just stay in the restroom she like I'm sorry as so as i was getting on the bed i felt the need to pee again. lasted 2-3 hours the second day it was Thanks Giving yep spent Thanks Giving at the hospital ALONE😒😡😠. My mom and sister came to visit for like 20 min then visiting hours was finish. But atleast they were able to get the 55' amzon firetv i wanted for black Friday🤗🤗🤗😊🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. You should see my forearms after all the poking of shots and ivs😬😬😤. I use to be proud now i have these bruses and scars and don't let me tell you about after i woke up from surgery😡😠😢😢.😭😭. You have to becareful with these gynologist who want to force you to get hysterectomy. Even though she knew i didn't have kids wanted kids she was still saying hysterectomy after the next time i went to see her she said the same crap. I told her i wanted to talk to a doctor who specalized in fibriods. They are not going to send you you have to tell them you want to talk to somebody else. So i saw a doctor i had done a bunch of googling on fibriods so i knew my options and i had my facts. I wanted a laparoscopic myomectomy which is less invasive and the healing is quicker. The first doctor i spoke to told me he wouldn't know my uterus would be after removing my fibriods. I was thinking I've read and i haven't heard that after having a laparoscopic or an open myomectomy you couldn't have kids because of how your uterus anyways i let him know i have done my research so hw sent me to get an mri and a abdominal ultrasound. Did that was told that i would be a good fit since i also wanted kids. 2 weeks before the surgery i had spoken to one of the doctors and i told her i wanted a laparoscopic myomectomy i was told thwy might not be able to get the one that was at the back that was the size of a soft ball by doing the laparoscopic myomectomy. I told her i wanted her to try first and they couldn't get it after trying the laparoscopic myomectomy than they could do the open. NOW THAT'S WHAT WE AGREED ON😬.Which said on the paper that i signed and i would be leaving that same day meaning i didn't have to stay at the hospital. But to my surprise they did an open myomectomy i didn't see any signs of them even trying or attempting to the laparoscopic myomectomy. I spoke to the doctor she made excuse as to why i was opened up😒😤 saying i had 8 and they were everywhere. Ok but where was the attempt of ya trying to do the laparoscopic myomectomy🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. I have a 3rd post op on the 26 so I'm going to ask them that. Yeah if you want to try and shrink you should do that. If your doctor is not doing or listening to what you want see another doctor. let him know you want to another doctor. Ask him what other options you have. If not go to anothe hospital🙄. Do your research Google theres so many information out there. Also go to youtube that's how i made my decision. You can look at videos on yhese procedures are done and the before and after. Theres alot of people that share their experience before and after surgery. Also theres this other procedure called LAAM-BUAO that I've read that's less recovery times then laparoscopic myomectomy and open myomectomy you should google it.. I didn't really pay any mind to it because i didn't see it said it was available in Texas. All i can say is google google AND GOOGLE!!! Don't give up on what you want.🗣🗣 If you dont won't a hysterectomy don't get it!!!!!These gynologist and doctors just want to do what's easier for them. It's about you not them!!!It's your body not theres. So just do your research have it prepared when you go to talk tp your doctor so you can go in there with facts. I wish i wpuld of went in with a list of facts but i just went in with a couple of things i remember from researching. I wish i would have went to another hospital but i was already had a surgery date. Also have your questions for you anesthesiologist i did i Google what questions i should ask because i always forget what i want to ask. But on the 26 i wil be prepared I'm going to write down what ever question i want there is no silly or stupid question. I rember telling my doctor i wanted a DNR 😂🤣🤣😆😅😅😆🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 you would think it's not that serious but i remember seeing Grey's Anatomy and when Meredith had a c section birth she was losing to much blood and she told the doctor if she wasn't, i forgot exactly what she said but she said if she is not getting enough oxygen within 15 or 20 min let her go she does not won't to be a vegetable. So i told my doctor i saw the show and if your are not getting enough oxygen you'll be a vegtable and i didn't want to be a vegetable. She said that was not going to happen and they couldn't do that, that they have to save my life😒😂. I thought just for a min or 2 maybe i shouldn't do this🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔.
