Subserosal Fibroid causing lower left abdomen pain?

Hi, I have been having pretty constant pain in my lower left abdomen for around a month now (before, during, and after menstrual period). I had abdominal ultrasounds and CT scan done and the only thing my gyno can come up with is that it may be coming from a 3cm subserosal fibroid on the back left side of my uterus. I have 5-6 fibroids, but that one is the biggest. It still seems pretty small to me though to be causing this much pain. I have been checked for kidney stones and was all clear. Does anyone have any experience with small subserosal fibroids and pain in the abdomen???
