Please can anyone give me some advice, I am at an all time low and have no answers,
I have been prescribed 10mg Subutex and 6mg Loprazolam ( benzo) for twenty years, I was prescribed by my doctor and not under the control of any drug agencies, I worked abroad much of the time and had gained the trust of my GP to prescribe 6 mths at a time if needed, Our town is now under a new drug team which seems to have all GP signed up.
My prescription for both has been stopped , and I have been told I must go through the Drug team who say it will be three weeks minimum before a script will be available. I have begged please help me , this will set me back to a time I have nightmares about . I don't know how I am going to cope , and in shock that this can happen, Any help much appreciated

near you ? have you tried to see GP or another GP I myself have never been
in this situation but two members of my family are on drugs to help with addiction
and one was in situation similar to yourself and she had an emergency appt. given
to see drug services dr who could prescribe for her he wasn't in her area so drug
services paid for a taxi to take her to appointment to be sorted. I think drug services
will be better than general GP.
i hope you get the help you deserve as addiction is a terrible illness and should always be helped. Good luck

The centre is called Unity and has got all doctors to sighn up to there policies ,
I have been the hospital , whom I seen the mental health team, and although they listened the only thing they could offer was a bed but still no script.
I received a text from my son which broke my heart , Please dad don't go back to the Heroin ,I need you, I showed this to all parties concerned, Answer go back to Unity.
As I previously explained my doctor prescribed me for twenty years until she also signed up with this group, Now they decide what is best for you and what dose you go on despite taking into consideration your history from your GP records, I have now been informed they don't want to prescribe Loprazolam which is what I had been on for 20 years and put me on 40 mg a day of Diazepan on Daily pickup, I explained my Ex partner whom I owe so much has breast Cancer and that if they checked with my GP she could confirm I often would spend 3 to 4 days a week at her home 35 miles away which is now impossible. The answer I was trying to find out was is this legal , My life has took huge steps back , I thank you for your reply it was much appreciated, Take Care Paul
