success

Well I thought I'd share my success. 6 weeks post op and I managed 30 lengths in the pool 3 times last week and today I have ridden my horse.

Walking is still an issue for me but I am slowly getting there!!

That is fantastic news. I love swimming so I am looking forward to going swimming again. I am only 3 weeks and 2 days post op and things are going OK but I sometimes wonder if I will ever get there. I know it is very early days but it is difficult trying to be patient.

Great News, welcoming news for us who are still at the beginning of our journey x

My toes did feel like they have a mind of their own and be cautious of over flexing your foot as I did this on the first occasion and made my feet sore. Other than that it felt good x

Did you pull your toe up at all to exercise it? I can manage a slight bend down at 8 weeks after op but it is not moving upwards so still can't bend to get in a shoe? Not sure whether to force it a bit?!

No I haven't forcibly moved any of my toes just kept mobile and let them rest comfortably x

Thanks! I am nervous that I am not doing much and don't want to find that I should have been trying harder!
