Hi I go for my incisional hernia on the 6 th july three days away, I am very nervous after reading the bad experiences on here :{ which is very sad for the people involved but i don't want to feel gloom and doom before i go into hospital is there any people who have experienced Successful operations please Sue

Thank you Ctrix not a lot drained over night fingers crossed I can go home I'm starving being a vegan and coliac they haven't much to feed me I need a dinner lol

Feeling bad constant diarrhea sorry and feeling sick. when I eat anything the pain is really bad it burns then I feel sick and then I'm on the toilet that's how it's been the minute I got home I rang the number the hospital gave me after a very bad night but was told it nothing to do with them

Are you kidding me??? If the hospital won't help, get in touch with your doctor. You need to get that checked out.
And people in our country want socialized medicine??? I wish the entire U.S. could see what I see on these posts.

That's awful! I hope you are able to see your Dr and get him or her to explain why this is happening. Also give you something to relieve the symptoms. You will feel better soon. I hope your next post is a happy one!

Weill I manage to speak on the phone to a doctor she said there a sickness bug going round and and to some gaviscon for the acid yesterday was very bad , to pain was very very bad , my whole digestive system feels raw . I'm coeliac and dairy free and there wasn't any thing nourishing for me to eat in hospital plus they gave me lots of drugs including injections in my tummy to thin the blood I'm slowly healing my self with gentle food and drink I'm hoping today will be a bit better

It's been been two weeks and I just been to have my clips out . I'm still in pain and have very low energy but I think the sickness to it out of me. I'm hoping the pain will get less . I'm sure this is worse than my original bowel operation . I'm being very careful I can not go though this again I though I had a high freshhold of pain . I will say it has improved today but it worse as the day goes on . On ward and upwards I will. Post agin next week to compare how I feel then
