Sucralfate

Is anyone taking sucralfate (Carafate) for ulcers?  I've been taking 3 a day for several weeks and haven't noticed much change.  How do you feel while taking it and how long before you notice it's helping.   thanks for any info you can give me.

    I couldn't tell any difference either.  I just ordered some slippery elm bark, an herb.  I know that helps, cuz I've used it before.

    Have you ever tried omniprizole (not sure if that's the right spelling)

    But that's very good, my sister uses it and swears by it, hope this helps.

    I would suggest that you put Omeprazole in the search bar and read some of the posts to get the other side, as well,  before you start taking it, so you can make an educated decision.

      I think if you look into the side effects of any medication, you probably wouldn't take anything at all.
