Sudden anxiety without any reason.

The last week or so, I have been fairly anxiety free. Haven't really had any attacks. Today has been good. But all of a sudden, I got this sudden fear or thought that I was about to die. I didn't have any pain or any reason to think this. I just sat down and was about to eat lunch. This feeling came and went within a matter of two or three minutes. I don't really feel anxious right now. Which is nice. Has anyone else had this happen? A sudden anxious feeling that last for only a few minutes and goes away.

Yes this has happened to me randomly. Like Im just about to sit down to eat and randomly get vertigo / dizziness and that dizzy feeling gives me anxiety....when everything was fine before that happenned. Crazy how lots of our symptoms are similar. I really think im an empath so every little emotion even if its not coming from me affects my stomach.

This feeling is quite common especially when you in your teens and twenties.
Try Breathing Techniques or Relaxation Technique, Mindfulness. The best way of sorting this is to divert your mind to another thought or activity.
I used to suffer the same problem in my early twenties I just had to look up at a blue sky and would fill up. It was funny it happened more when I was at the swimming baths. It does eventually go

You might have generalized anxiety disorder or panic disorder. I have generalized anxiety disorder & it causes recurrent, unexpected, panic attacks. But I can assure you, you will not die. Just calm down. Meditate. Excersise. Eat healthy. Pray. I know it's easy said than done but being that I hav3 been in your position, you will be fine.

Hello,
I'm pretty new to anxiety, but you basically described what I have. Best advise to give is just know that it can't hurt you! Stay calm and try to control your breathing . When I feel like this at work, I normally have to step outside for a bit until I can calm my self down .
