Sudden bend at tip of my penis
Posted , 4 users are following.
I'm 51. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed a severe upward bend at just the tip of my penis when erect. Not that I've ever analyzed that before but when pushing my finger on the top just behind the head it feels quite hard. Not sure if that's part of it or I just never noticed but the bend creeps me out. Any thoughts would be appreciated. If needed what kind of doctor would I go see.
Thank you

Could be Peyronie's ??

If you want to see a doctor, you could just see a GP, but if there's a problem, you'd probably be referred to a urologist.

I would agree with ml66uk, almost certainly Peyronie's.

Thank you for the replies. I'll dig into it. I have no pain but it definitely seems to have affected my size which was always above average. Talk about a blow to the ego. lol
Thank you again for taking the time to respond. I wonder what causes it.

My doc referred me to a urologist and we discussed an op, he said a little scar tissue will be removed from the cavernosa in the underside of my penis, this would balance the shortening in the top side of my penis causing the upward curve, he added there may be a 'little' loss in length. I was anxious to get it in working order again so I went ahead. There was more loss of length than I expected and what was worse the condition just came back over the next few years, I don't know why but the condition seems to have stabilised now although intercourse is impossible.
There is a gadget on the market claiming to stretch and reform but several posters on here have warned that these just do more tissue damage.
There have also been several claims that sonic devices such as toothbrushes have worked in straightening the curve, I haven't tried one so can't comment.

Thank you. So far I have no discomfort or issues with intercourse or erection but it's fairly new. Just a few weeks. I guess the newness of it all is just creeping me out more than anything.
