My vision in 2017

Right Eyes= -1.25/-0.25x70 Left Eyes= -1.25/-0.25x80

My vision in 2019

Right Eyes= -1.25/-3.00x50 and Left Eyes= -1.00/-1.00x120

I have been diagnosed with keratoconus .

I'm very worried due to this sudden decrease in vision and fear for worsening of vision in the future.

But I am more worried about the discomfort and headache in, behind, and around the right eye. occasionally gets very intense. Even blinking feels uncomfortable and heavy in the right eye as well. Have noticed in the morning after waking up right eye feels very hard and stiff for a while. Its always feel like i'm putting lot of pressure or effort into the eye and feels very difficult to relax the right eye. I know for sure this is happening as my right eye does not have any of these symptoms and both eyes feels very different although investigations came back normal.

I was told keratoconus causes progressive bad vision only and no pain or discomfort in right eye.

I was advised to do Cross linking procedure or Ring procedure by 2 different doctors.

I don't know which to choose and am also worried about doing the procedure while we don't know the cause of discomfort in the right eye as it may get more worse after the procedure.
