So much of what you're experiencing can be a nuisance but not due to serious illness. The sooner you're diagnosed and start treatment, the better!

This could be anything from high blood pressure to low vitamins (like B12) or hormone related (thyroid), or vertigo/vestibular issues.  When you get this feeling, I'm sure it feels far worse than it is.

I've had what you describe as a very healthy female in my mid-20s...my dr. had just called me "the picture of health!" and I thought I would pass out or die starting not 2 months later. That was vertigo (BPPV).  More recently (as a fairly healthy mom in her mid-40s now) I thought I had MS because every part of me was growing weaker and movement like standing up and walking was such an effort (I do walk over 10K steps/day). That was B12 deficiency (Pernicious Anaemia) and low vitamin D.  I hadn't had a check up in 2 years and couldn't remember the last real bloodwork I had that wasn't for pregnancy. If I had continued my checkups, I wouldn't have gotten to that point in the first place...

So, avoiding doctors is the last thing you really want to do now. smile  I hope you get the help you need!!  Good Luck!

I totally understand avoiding doctors!  But, since you'll need to go to feel better, maybe you can convince a friend to go along with you or a family member. if you can pair it with something fun after like going out (for me, shopping or a nice meal or even a nice walk if the weather is good) then you'll turn a negative into something more positive.

It's terrible what you're going through. But, while talking here is helpful, you need to get that check-up youj're worried about. If you know what you have, then you can start on the path to improving it. I will say, it is difficult to get the right diagnosis sometimes. But you have to keep trying. I've been to two doctors so far, and now I think I've finally found what's going on. They sent me to a Center for Vestibular Therapy. They did a long evaluation--my eyes, ears, my walking gait, and more. Now I'm going to have Vestibular (ear) exercises--kind of like physical therapy but specifically for these dizziness issues (and they also have a Psychological department. I understand not every town and city has this. But I think the most important doctor to see (I assume you've already gone to your regular doctor) is an Otalaryngologist. That is a mouthful, I know! It's a Head and Neck doctor who may specialize in the ears. It's possible you may have to contact a nearby hospital to find one. Good luck. Please don't stay in this paralyzed state. We have to help ourselves.
