Sudden one sided breast pain years after last period

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've been post menopause for many years. On HRT but no issues at all for years.

Suddenly developed one side breast pain, no lumps felt by me or gynae. She seemed unconcerned as I had a clear mammogram and ultrasound last summer. Due next screening on Thursday anyway.

It's just so worryingly weird that my hitherto totally quiet breast has suddenly started being so sore all the time.

Has any other post meno lady experienced this and has any light to shed on possible causes, sources of relief and, of course, reassurance?

Thank you

I had this happen to me and nothing was found,no lumps and nothing on mammogram. Advised to take Evening Primrose oil every day and have had no further problems. Have you put on weight so you have heavier breasts?Sometimes being measured for a new supportive bra is very helpful. Good luck with the screening.
