Sudden onset of Retrograde

Anybody have a sudden onset of retrograde ejaculation (RE)? I've been on two Flomax (Tamsulosin) for years and never had RE but now in the last few weeks I have it. Just kind of puzzling to me so I thought that I would run it by you guys.

It's the long term effect of it.
Why not try one a day Cialis instead. It's also good for your heart.

Interesting, I had not thought of the long term effect of it as I thought that Flomax actually just worked from day to day and didn't build up in your system. I actually do take the 5 mg Cialis with it as well.
Another person private messaged me to experiment with it and skip a day or take one a day and see what happens. I think that is a good idea and as I told him I was scheduled for a TURP this month but it got delayed due to some other medical conditions. I've had BPH for 20 years and many UTIs along with it and I'll be more than happy to see a good portion of this prostate shaved away.
Thanks.

When it began to affect me I just used to take it from Monday to Thursday and take Cialis at the weekend when I also found that my flow was better.
Good luck with the TURP. Why did you choose that over other procedures ?

Flomax can last in your system for up to about 5 days. I did an experiment on myself once and after 5 days no effects. That's when I started taking it every other day. It worked just fine that way.

Flomax will cause retrograde, switch to Alfuzosin to recover most of ejaculant, this is well know side effect of Flomax

And can also cause eye damage in the form of Floppy Iris syndrome making cataract surgery more difficult.

And that too, I've read, can be irreversible.

Prior to having radiation for prostate cancer (that ended my sex life) I was taking Flomax and did not have retro, but my orgasms were not strong. No other negative symptoms, so I would say that Flomax "may" cause retro, but as it relaxes the prostate there will be changes in orgasm intensity.

Interesting info, I 've been on Flomax (Tamsulosin Hcl caps 0.4mg) for about 9 months. It made it easier
to urinate for sure, I might experiment with the 1 day on 1 day off. What does the Cialis do ? ( 62 yr old USA/Calif)
