hi,im 53, had bouts of hot flashes for three years, still have them , rarely have periods now( cant remember my last one) and suddenly the last four weeks head pressure, shakiness, dizziness, fatigue have come on intensely. is it normal to come on so fast?
Also I'd appreciate any advice how i can ease the symptoms, preferably naturally.
thanks 🙂

i too had the normal hot flashes and moodiness, then it graduated to the dizziness, digestive issues, sight problems etc. it seemed like it all just hit me like a train. now that i think back, i had an extremely stressful situation develop and it all went to hell after that i am 51 and am in postmenopause for 18 months

well i have tried many many things - HRT ( oral tablets for 19 months now) has taken away the dizziness and most of the physical symptoms but has caused other issues ( edema) I also have hypothyroidism. so I went from not taking a single medication not even advil to taking 7 pills a day and I am still suffering most days. sorry it isnt a happy story

im.sorry 😟.
i avoid all pharmaceuticals unless absolutely necessary because of what youve written here. i take nothing, including flu jabs nor any others.
What are your symptoms now if your dizziness etc has gone?has hypothyroidism come on since using the meds? i had half thyroid removed a few years ago but no issues. thanks for your replies by the way 🙂

I have been in peri menopause for 6 yrs now and i swear I have been through every symptom and still get my period every 28 days. This hell can last for 10 plus yrs before you see no more periods. I am praying for the day I see mine no more but hoping that my symptoms don't worsen after like some women.

ive discovered im electro sensitive! ive scoured old menopause books, none which describe many of these symptoms we have!! ive read books and dozens of articles online since having an awful reaction to a dimmer switch in my friends home.
i truly believe these modern day menopause symptoms is electro sensitivity. smart meters are a massive cause of our symptoms and this is just for starters. please look into it.Theres a book you can start with called The Invisible Rainbow that will blow your mind.
i hope you find relief soon.
best wishes

I could have written this post myself. You pretty much described to a T! Shakiness, lightheadedness, dizziness. Sometimes I have them out of the blue, sometimes on days where I didn't drink or eat enough. Brain fog comes along with it and something that feels like sinus pressure and tinnitus. My vitals are always good and I have had cardiac work up done, which was fine. On those days I try to take extra care of myself, if possible. Stress reduction, hydration, healthy food, and lots of rest. I am in perimenopause, still have periods, so I am wondering if ovulation (or anovulation) has anything to do with it.

Angelie as I write this I feel shakiness inside and terrible head pressure. My head is feeling fuzzy that is making me feel nausea. It has been this way off and on for 2 days now. I hate this feeling. So many thoughts go through my mind , then i google symptoms which give me bloody anxiety. I will just rest with a ice pack on my head and eat mints for the rest of the night. God help each of us women who are struggling. Hope you feel well soon.

i know how you are feeling and do hope you too find some relief! today I'm mostly extremely weak, legs like jelly and anxiety with that. Does your heart rate increase easily like just walking up a d down the stairs? i briskly walked up and down the stairs yesterday about four times and my heart rate went up to over 100bmp and im a very fit slim 53 year old with no underlying health conditions. its scaring me to death and what you wrote there could have been written by me.
i know those thoughts too, when i feel i cant take too much more.
