Sudden random pain i neck along with numbness and tremors

I suffer from anxiety, i have had varying symptoms from chest pain to the current issue i am experiencing.

I suddenly feel a pain in my neck, then I feel a numbness in the scalp of my head and then face feels kinda numb also hands mostly left . Then I also feel an internal tremor in my left hand and feet and feel like I will faint and pass out, along feel like my eye is darting.

I saw neurologist almost two years ago when i was experiencing headaches and he ordered an MRI and it was normal, i wasn't experiences these symptoms then.

Since then I have been to the ER several times and had two ct scans, the most recent being in march this year it was normal as well. I had an EEG in april and was normal as well.

I have asked both the ER doctors and family doctor to refer to a neurologist but they all said my tests are normal and its anxiety. Does anyone experience this, i tried googling and saw TIA, multiple sclerosis and other scary conditions.

Tom keep in mind that anytime you Google you’re going to see all kinds of scary conditions but that doesn’t mean that they pertain to you and your individual situation. The MRI would have picked up multiple sclerosis as well as many other conditions. You have had enough testing done that would have picked up something serious. The CAT scan it’s very specific and can detect many things .

at some point you need to trust what the doctors are telling you. And yes, anxiety and stress tend to show symptoms of the nervous system and that’s why a lot of people think they have some neurological condition.

people including myself have had crazy symptoms from stress and anxiety such as numbness, tingling, pain, vibration feeling anywhere, lightheadedness, dizziness, floaters in the eyes, visual issues, headaches, head pressure, shortness of breath, vertigo, crawling feeling on the skin, weakness , Ringing in the ears, a feeling like paralysis that is temporary, and on and on.

i have had quite a few of those symptoms on and off for over 30 years.

None of the symptoms from anxiety and stress or harmful but they can be very scary. That’s why it’s important to relax your mind as much as you can to help get rid of the stress and anxiety . speaking with a counselor can help manage this.

its not the symptoms that are the problem. It’s the anxiety and stress that builds up and causes those symptoms.

hope you are able to get some support with this. Take care

Thanks, my concern just is I didnt have some of these symptoms when i had the mri and im worried since that was about 21 months ago if anything could have developed since then and the ct scan in march wasnt sensitive enough too, i have had this for over a year on and off , when i told the ER doctors and my family physician they said you dont need to see a neurologist again. my doctor gaved me a neurological exam and said all was fine .

Currently i am feeling a pain in my head and my neck pains and feel an internal vibration in my neck, arms and feet and also weakness and feel like i will faint and pass out. i also had several ct scans last year for abdominal issues anxiety related in the end and worry about my radiation exposure, i also recently discovered i have a gall stone and did a hida scan which is more radiation and said my gall bladder was functioning abnormal but whether i want surgery was up to me and another doctor said do it, so this has made me anxiety worse with another issue coming plus i have teeth issues. do you experience the symptoms i mention too that im having currently
