Sudden severe headache, scared of aneurysm

Hi I have suffered from many kinds of headaches since I was 14 for which I had a ct scan at 17 yrs old that was normal. Last year exactly I developed yet another kind of headache but this ones is like a sudden severe one throughout my entire head and it feels so heavy and strong I have to massage my head cause it feels like it's being crushed but thank God it only lasts less than a minute. I have had 5 or 6 episodes of these headaches since july last year and they happenned when I'm very stressed I gotta admit it, I don't know if it the worst headache of my life but it really scares me and leaves me with a panic attack.
I'm so scared I developed an aneurysm and It will burst I'm 22 and of hispanic/black descents which are the highest groups risk and also I'm a woman so you can Imagine how terrified I am. I used to turn my head upside down as a relaxation technique and don't know if the blood flow to my head gave me an aneurysm. Anyone knows something about this or experiencing the same symptoms?? hELP

Hi Michelle, I had an aneurysm in 2014. The pain came on instantly, severe and unlike any head pain I'd ever experienced in my 53 years. The pain was so intense, and so sudden, I was on the edge of blacking out and my head became "too heavy for my neck" - it's the only way I can describe it. The neck pain was pretty bad. The medics arrived very quickly, whatever the painkiller was they gave me came back up so fast, I couldn't keep anything down. They suspected I'd had a brain bleed & I was transported to hospital for a CT scan, which confirmed their suspicion.
The interesting thing is that about 5 or 6 months prior to 'the big one' I had the exact same thing happen. The intense, blinding pain hit me, I was breathless and holding onto my head and as quickly as it started, it disappeared. The pain was so excruciating and unlike anything I'd experienced before but because it went away as quickly as it happened I didn't do anything about it.
I don't know if going to the doctor and reporting it would have changed the eventual outcome but anyway, 4 years later and my MRI's have been fine and my next MRI is in 5 years time. I guess that's a good thing
Go see your doctor and put your mind at ease.

Hi Willa I am very sorry to hear about that, but I'm also glad that the doctors could help you and that you're doing fine now. I really hope and will pray you continue healthy. Blessings for you xx.
Thank you so much for sharing you're experience. I'm terrified I have it. The doctors say is more common in women in their 40s-50s but I know soo many stories of women my age and it scares very much
I can't ljve my life as a normal 22 yr old young woman. i'm constantly googling about brain aneurysm everyday.
Do you know if mris can catch small ones?? I hear CTAs are better at it, so i'm not sure about what to request when I go to the doctor but I'm really feeling like a ticking time bomb right now and my family doesn't listen to me. I have hispanic and black descent and they say it is a risk factor
