Sudden Tinnitus, 26 Years Old, Normal or Something More?

Hello, about 6 weeks ago I woke up and noticed a 'white noise' kind of sound in my left ear. I'm 26 years old, don't work in a noisy environment, don't blast music on earphones and don't work with vibrating tools. I am awaiting an appointment from an ENT specialist, but this could be 2 months. My tinnitus isn't very loud, for example, it's most noticeable when it's quiet, like in bed, TV and day to day activities will drown it out. I made the mistake of consulting Dr. Google, and that threw around words like tumour etc, so I wish I hadn't looked. I don't lose sleep over it, it's not very aggressive sounding, just a dull white noise, the only thing I'm concerned about is the fact it seems to have come from nowhere! I also have an anxiety disorder, so waiting 2 months for answers is a bit daunting

If it's just in one ear it's more important to get it checked out, but try not to worry.
