Suddenly cannot hear from right ear - lump and green substance in ear canal

Hi all,

I am prone to wax build up in my ears which leads me to having to use ear drops (olive oil) for a few days each 3 months or so to clear the wax.

10 days ago I was unable to hear correctly from my right ear. I tried to use olive oil this time and no success. Usually i would see liquid wax move out of my ear after a few days but this time there was no wax leaving my ear. I then tried sodium bicarbonate drops for a few days followed by hydrogen peroxide drops. There has been no wax leaving my ear at all and i am still unable to hear much from the ear.

I asked my girlfriend to check the ear today to see if there is any notable blockage. She looked at it and seen a lump in the ear canal with some greeny looking substance as well.

I have an appointment with an audiologist on Saturday, but was wondering if anyone has idea what the lump may be?

The outer ear is only slight painful and inner ear was sore for a few days in the ear canal but fine now. there has been no notable discharge and I don't have a fever. Besides the loss of most of the hearing from the ear I wouldn't notice much difference. image
