You need to get help, go to your doctor.   Life and health problems can cause depression, I,ve been very depressed twice, I was put on citalopram an antidepressant which helped me onto the road to recovery, I do not take it now.  I still get days when I feel down, I think some people are prone to this anyway.

You can get depressed both by:

    1. Beta Blockers, as a side effect

    2. by your health problems

    3. feeling bad on Beta blockers and then develop a depression because you know that you have to take them and yet you feel bad on them, but you are not allowed to quit them

I cannot tell the difference between how I felt before beta blockers, I feel rubbish on them, especially after I,ve taken one.
