Hi All

I am writing this from Cloud 9 as my team WON :football: and I am off to Wembley on Bank Holiday Monday :P

30+ years I have waited for this so I am going even if it kills me

Any ideas how to prepare myself this week apart from doing nothing :ok:

I have been thinking of ways to make myself identifiable to you all (see previous posts)

I was going to streak :run: but as my daughter so brutally commented, I would probably fall asleep half way through

I think she loves me really

I told her about the batteries Donna

    Hi Dale

Hmm - I'm going to have to give this one a bit of thought.

What's this about batteries - sounds interesting. :wow:

    Will sleep on it!

    Take care

My daughter in law tells my granddaughter that 'Granma runs out of energy'. She seems to understand.

I guess I am not a Duracell Bunny.

Oh, I see Dale - well my batteries were obviously rejects from a bargain basement!!

Re. your amazing outing on Bank Hol. Monday - there really is only one thing to do, and we all know what it is, but it's something we all find so difficult to do - REST. Boring:whistle:

I think you will just have to go for it, you will have a great day, hopefully your team will win and you will probably feel :yuk: the next day (and probably longer). But, hey it will be worth it!!

Presumably you can get a seat at the match these days. The one and only time I have been to a footie match (about 45 years ago!) we had to stand the whole time. I've never been since! Is David Beckham playing - that's just about the only footballer I know - oh, apart from Wayne, of course!:football:

Well I cant get too excited about football! Sorry Dale sad

My hubbie has it on all the time! Screaming and shouting at the TV! Then sulking if his team lose! It likehaving another child in the house. I dont understand the offisde bit either - I'm useless so I think I will join Katie and run starkers at half-time :run:

I wonder if id get away with a streak walk ?? they'd have to make there half time atleast a hour for me to complete it !!

As regards our batterie levels id be ever ready,,,,,,Every ready but with little power and short batterie life

Not into footy though, much prefer motorsport, but if id do a streak run id proberly get run over !!

Talking of batteries I am the cheapest you could get. Little power then dies supper quick.

    Hi everyone

I have been in sensible mode all week, recharging the batteries for the big game :football:

I have also booked next week off work in case I crash

Yes, they have seats Katie and I am going on a coach so I dont have the stress of driving :P

David Beckham would not play for the Dale, we hold the record for being in League 2 the logest without promotion and this is the first time in our 100 yr history we have got to Wembley!
