Suicidal thoughts

Hi

I got a msg today and here goes my answer public!

Yes some people get those thoughts some people don't. My case yes I was loosing it till the point I wanted to end my life. It was bad, but I asked for help. I had a big battle in front of me but I never given up.

How did I deal with them?!

It's hard... After attempts I realised it was not worth it because I would cause more pain in this world than the pain I was going through. I embraced my kids I embraced my family I embraced life. Whenever I had those thoughts I never keept them to myself. I used to call for help. I started taking sertraline and after few days that pain went away. I was glad, I didn't care about the side effects I just wanted that though to go away. And it didsmile Anxiety got worse in the beginning but also after some time it went away. Panic attacks also went away. Everyone is different I know that but if you don't try taking the medication how would you know if it works? So the person who sent me a message today saying that I have no idea your wrong I have all the idea. Taking 25mg of sertraline won't do a lot for you as it is a very low dosage. If you want to get better try and find the right dosage please before you attack me here.

Hope everyone of you who is fighting with this illness get better, wish everyone who takes sertraline best of luck I know in the beginning is awful but soon you can get better.

And those with suicidal thoughts remember you are not alone no matter what. Stay positive and strong, fight. Always remember no matter how much pain we have or we going through the pain we leave behind is bigger. I know what I'm talking about.

Best of luck to everyone all the best xxx

If you don't agree with me please comment.

Ask your Gp to go up to 100mg. The quick u find ur right dosage the better. As you been 3wks at 50mg if u go up now to 100mg you won't feel much stay on it for another 2wks and if you don't feel better go up to 150mg. Definitely by 150mg you will feel a lot of changes. And if you do go up to 200mg and stay on it. Best of luck. Let us know how you doing xxx

I was strong because loads of people in this forum helped me a lot. And also my beautiful children but only me and God knows what I've been through. I'm good now and all of you will feel the same soon. I keep giving people advice and loads of them take it. The long you stay in a dosage when you go up u will feel side effects but if you try and just be 2wks at 25mg 2wks at 50mg as a example you don't feel that many side effects. Best of luck to all of you xxx

    Hi ilda.

oh I soooooo agree with what u have wrote.

ive been on Sertline for 14 months BUT prior to that the 9monthe before my mood swings emotion were all in an emotional rollercoster I to have children and.

the first 4-6 weeks were awful but I persevered ........and months later I feel human again well yes of course there are days when I'm down but nothing like before and I have posted loads to encourage people to continie it does help........

life people choose to be ignorant and give up so easy then that is up2 themselves. But because this medication doesn't agree with one person that impact doesn't mean it will happen to the next person that tries?

    we are all different?!!.
