Sun sensitivity

Has anyone experienced a sun sensitivity/allergy with peri menopause?? All of a sudden when my arms and legs are exposed to the sun, a few hours later i am itching like crazy and bumps will form. It is driving me crazy!!!! Not sure if its hormone related...?

    I've suffered with that for years, and now you come to say since peri-menopause, doctors have never connected it though, they just call it prickly heat, sun never bothered me at all before so I now wear a factor 30 when out in the sun, wish I knew why it happens, its quite annoying, sorry couldnt give you any answers but maybe somebody will...
