Suppression Vs antibody generation eczema herpeticum (hsv1)

Hi, I'm just wondering whether suppressing the hsv1 virus by two tablets of acyclovir a day prevents your body from generating the antibodies to fight it? from a few articles online it looks like I'm preventing my body from generating igG antibodies... but the problem is when i stop i can get really really bad outbreaks if not eating enough and its all over my body it can hurt to the point that i suffer a lot and get really depressed. I've been taking two a day but can see and feel itching more so i think once i stop acyclovir it'll cause a big outbreak again... I've had three major outbreaks so far (it's occurred when dieting, so i no longer diet).

any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

ps does anyone else on these forums have eczema herpeticum? got it last year somehow... the only contact i had with anyone was by partaking in a judo class so I've been worrying about it a lot since the doctor had no idea what form of herpes it was and just prescribed acyclovir. i only discovered it was (most likely) this form and not herpes gladitorium through online research.
