Surgeon recommendations

Hi,
I've finally decided, after having bunions for the majority of my life, 33 is now the time to have minimally invasive bunion surgery.
I live in Norfolk, and no where near me does the procedure, so London is the easiest option. Does anyone have any recommendations/experiences of London clinics? I am tempted with the London foot Clinic. Any advice anyone can give me is gratefully received!
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, definitely sounds like the best op. I think I'm going with mr redfern at the London foot and ankle centre. Won't have it done until autumn though now because I work 6 days a week from April throughout the summer so think I've missed my recovery time. I'll let you know after it's done x

I have been searching and reading everything I can find on this...yes, he was recommended, and I think he's the right choice for me. It's minimally invasive bunion surgery on both feet. Do they do it anywhere in Australia?

HI
I went to one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Vancouver. And she told me that she spends most of her time talking people out of getting bunion surgery. I wish I would have done my homeowork before getting my hammertoe fused and bunion surgery. The bunion was fine but the hammertoe is a mess.
She told me that she would have lengthened my calf muscle which was causing my toes to curl. She thinks outside the box. I found her on RateMD.
She had nothing but 5 stars from everyone. Now I know why.
She could operate on my toe so that it would be termed a floating toe as she would have to shorten it. But I'm staying away from surgery.
There are good surgeons out there but you have to hunt for them.
I suggest to do your homework. Before going under the knife. I wish I would have.
