I had my gallbladder removed via keyhole on the 17th of may and on wednesday just gone i think that was the 27th i went for my check up. the surgeon who did my op tore off the dressings covering my wounds and he tore off a chunk of my skin leaving a friction burn. i did not notice at the time but i noticed in the car coming home. i cleaned it with mild soap and water put sudocrem on it and left it. yesterday the soft scab came off on my towel when i was dabbing it dry even though i was so gentle. now i have what i can only describe as what looks like a burn. it is weeping green and yellow thick pus and spotting blood. i have it covered with a non stick dressing as advised by my GP who i called yesterday.

i am already on antibiotics from my GP querying infection of the bellybutton incision, they finish on tuesday next week.

my GP nurse is on annual leave all next week and my GP isnt seeing anyone due to covid.

can anyone give me tips on how to heal this?

i will try to attach a picture.

thank you!!
