I have been struggling since I had a gall bladder op - (long story - nothing went right).
Finally a consultant (after nearly a year of struggling) told me to try, after apologising for it not being available on the NHS and if I could afford it, VSL#3. This re-colonises's the gut with friendly bacteria, each sachet contains 450 billion friendly bacteria.
It has been worth every penny I have spent.
I also had been advised to take Yeo Valley Pro Biotic Organic Yoghurt which contains L. Acidopolous with a teaspoonful of Manuka Honey.
Again, once on anti biotics as well as knocking out the bad bacteria, it knocks out the good as well. Helping your body to re-colonise with good bacteria helps you to get well.
Worth a try?
