surgery on pancreas

Pancreatitis attack in April of 2020

had pseudocyst and doctor inverted stint for draining and removing dead tissue

doctor did three procedures to clean it out , last one in August.

after three months did a c-scan in November and later called me and said I need surgery to remove about two inches of dead material in the center of the pancreas

have been doing good eating a low fat diet but am worried about surgery.

Has anyone had surgery similiar to this and what is the outcome?
