Surprisingly Stressed Over Nothing

Had a prostate biopsy on Monday. Waiting for results. Unexpectedly stressed. I had a 4 mm suspicious spot from MRI in December. Was going to wait until April for biopsy. PSA only 2.7 probably slow growing. Probably no rush. But decided to go ahead and get it over with now. I was not that worried about it, but having had the test I am finding myself anxious about the result. Was hoping to get a call today, but did not. Hopefully will get a call on Monday.

It is a strange psychology. Maybe I was in denial and now the reality of what may be ahead of me is becoming more vivid.

    You may be overly stresses, but who wouldn't be?

    Wait until you get the results.

    Hopefully a very qualified person will report on them.

    If not, find someone who is very qualified.

    The same "spot" on a scan can be diagnosed as two very different things

    by two radiologists, depending on their experience.
