Hi all,

there is a survey that Me action sent me you may be interested in:

As you are aware, the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is rewriting the UK ME guidelines. As part of this process, the Forward-ME Group, of which #MEAction UK is a member, has prepared a survey to provide additional evidence on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and graded exercise therapy (GET) to NICE. It is important that as many people as possible complete the survey by the 31st January 2019. We are counting on the ME community to spread this across all of their networks, both online and in-person, so please do share widely!

    Thanks for the reminder Beverly. I have just completed the form. It’s very short & easy, it only took 10 mins (or less) Just go on meassociation.org.uk

    go on the relevant subject heading NICE ME/CFS guideline review dated 11th jan, scroll down a little to where you click on the link for the survey & it comes up automatically

      Thanks for posting the link details : )

      yes I thought it was quick and easy too. I didn't have GET as wasn't well enough but did have CBT and at least you can still contribute if you didn't have both.

      Hi Beverly,

      I also had CBT last year but wasn’t well enough for GET. All CBT sessions were done over the phone.

      I agree its good that we could still contribute.

      Hopefully others with contribute too as its so important they get the feedback from the people it effects the most.

    Finally, sent the email to my local MP. Although I’m not sure it will be seen in time - I received an automated email to say it could take up to 14 working days to respond!

    Arrrhhhh!! All that time & energy that took!!!

    Feeling deflated and out of fuel!

    Heading to the pit stop! 😦
