Susceptible to anything different by giving oral

Hello..just had a question about performing oral on a girl that has HSV-1 on her genitals. I have had a few cold sores on my mouth going back a few years now. She is on an antiviral. Since I've already had cold sores, if I perform oral on her am I susceptible to anything different than what I already have or can it make my condition worse or spread to my esophagus or anything else?

    not really you could get hsv1 genitally if you have sex but its very uncommon
