Suspected hyperthyroidism

hi i had history of panic attacks, depression and anxiety but for last 2 years it seems to be getting out of control. Eventually i went for thyriod test and my T4 was found to be elevated its value was 24.1( reference range 11_23) whereas T3 and TSH were normal.so i have started carbimazole but have not felt better yet even after 4 weeks. Are these values high enough for me to take carbimazole and if so when will i start feeling better
