Hi, I need some advice on sutures. I am unable to get help on the nhs and private costs too much, so I've reached an utter last resort and I am planning on stitching my stretched ears myself and I need some advice on the best way to to them. I've watched a few online videos and sourced the equipment i need to do this

god  i feel for you hun but this sounds tricky and could turn nasty

it does seem unfair to me ,that women can get bust implaints because they say

its ruining there lives because they have no confidence surley this is the same situation , just in another area , its a lot cheaper to do to .as well .

what ever you choose to do hun be very careful .sad

Emma, I would advise against this.

Have you tried contacting the Citizen's Advice Bureau?  You might find that there is a Charity that can help you.

Please don't do it yourself.  Surgeons spend years training before they do something like this, you can't just buy equipment and watch something on You Tube, then do it yourself.

If you really thought it was a good idea why are you asking us? I've watched a few online videos on how to do things and messed them up, but then it wasn't my ears!!!!! eek

Right I'll start again! I was a bit horrified when I read your post. Not least because I was born with sticky out ears and my mum wanted to get them pinned back. She didn't thankfully!

What do you mean by stretched ears? From earrings or what?

i think she proberly means those things that you put in your ears that make those big holes and the bigger the inserted ring the bigger the hole that wont heal if you decide  you dont like them

i thought she was on about sticking out ears as well.

I didn't read it properly the first time. Stretching was the clue! It It they get sown together she need Comfrey ointment for it to heal well.
