SVT Ablation

Hi! i was diagnosed with SVT and it got worse over the years from months to weeks. i just didn't want to take any more pills so i went ahead with the surgery. So glad i did!! i was feeling lethargic for a week or two but after i rested i feel better everyday. But i had a really bad argument with my husband and my heart rate jumped to 122 and i was shaking and nervous. My husband got scared and called my grown children because i could not stop crying. I felt like i was having a panic attack because i was screaming at him and pushed him. i was so upset because i told him our children are grown and they can make their own decisions about their finances. We cannot always bail them out at the jump of a hat. That's what started the argument, he cursed at me and tried to question my christianity. I couldn't believe how upset i got!! Was my hormones unbalanced after this surgery or depression? Its a concern that I have. My doctors nurse said my body have to get back to normal!! I felt helpless, he apologized though and we had prayer with our children and my soninlaw.

I have SVT (PAT) too. I have gone 3x for ablation but never got to the ablation part. Long story....

I'm wondering if your adrenoline just kicked in, and that's why you reacted the way you did.

i was in a verbal mental abusive marriage and arguments sent me to bed with bad palpitations and my heart racing,i left him . i had a attack of SVT a week ago which has limited my activity for a week and i felt so depressed,i like to be independent at 74. Confrontation is not good for us with this problem. And you are right children should stand on their own two feet, whilst we help they will think don,t worry Mum and Dad will help us out! God bless you.
