SVT grandson of 4yrs

My grandson had SVt at 2yrs and then at 4yrs, this time I was there at the NHS hopsital in Bedford. The left him tired aND listeless with a heart rate of 299 for over 11 hoursm before they phoned Addenbrookes to ask how to lower his heart rate. Is this malpractice? he could have had a cardiac arrest. The meds they finally used are for adults not children. These meds make him have extreme mood swings and aggression.

ps he saw a consultant at oxford at 2yrs old he said something about an operation at 7yrs.  I just think any hospital should not leave a childs heart racing that long without seeking help from a specialist.

Hi - your post sounds unbelievable - - 11 hours? I would get in touch with a medical malpractice lawyer immediately and find your grandson another hospital and educated specialists. Good Luck -  jay
