I have a loop recorder and my nurse said I've had a episode since my last svt on sinus tachycardia of 127 and a few palpitations/ectopic beats not sure what the difference is between them but nothing real bad

Hey, don't know if it'll work for you, but it worked for me - When I was diagnosed edith SVTs and PVCs, And basically told no cure except surgery in most severe cases, I decided I needed to Take matters into my own hands and lose weight, so I joined weight watchers. I don't have any investment interest in them, In fact they didn't help me lose weight. But what happened is they taught me to eat much healthier foods. Literally within a few days, cutting out the alcohol, and high carb foods, (even though you can have alcohol on weight watchers) replaced them with Whole Foods, my heart was so much happier the symptoms all subsided a lot. But you don't need to join weight watchers-go online and learn about eating healthy, if you drink alcohol cut it out. If you already eat healthy and don't drink alcohol, then I'm sorry, but it helped me a lot. Will pray for you!
ps, I'm not perfect about the Whole Foods, and every now and then I'll have a drink or a glass of wine, but over all my diet has changed, and I definitely feel it in my heart health!

Gosh, Deborah, I know the feeling.
I had my very first svt Feb 2016. Never a problem after that. I immediately went on a beta blocker which really helped my epsiodes. But I truly felt like crap taking them. I stopped them cold turkey 5 days prior to my first ablation attempt.I only had the ep study, not ablated because he could not trigger me. But I did not go back on the beta blocker. I told him I would rather have episodes than feel the way I did while taking them.
Anyways.......I think some of what you are feeling is a tad of anxiety. Certainly understand why. It is such a terrible think to experience, until you can get to the point of understanding it, and truly believing it is not life threatening. That takes work.I am to the point that when when starts, I no longer become anxious, but really p****d off.
My episodes have been every 3 days. Si I decided to start taking a channel blocker. It is day 11........and holding my breath.
Also, I used to get alot of palpitations/flutters.A lot of them were after eating so I think they were related to the vagus nerve. I started taking 250mg of magnesium glycernate at bedtime.Oh my gosh, I have the most amazing sleeps and I never get those palpitation/flutters
Not sure whether this is help
