With pain between your shoulders when swallowing are you gulping your food. Sometimes if we eat and we are sitting with bad posture you may have problems swallowing. If you also do not mastigate your food (sorry) chew that can give a burning sensation in your throat.

Posture seems a problem, although it may be something may be stuck and you are getting heart burn.

If it does not clear after Christmas/New Year talk to your GP

I have a condition that effects that part of my body through different problems. In the past I swallowed food badly and could feel it in my back

If you feel something is wrong talk to your GP, sometimes if we swallow something hot we can have various sensations in our throat or the tubes that feed tummy and lungs when eating.

Has the problem cleared, if so great
