Swan neck finger.

Hi all, since being on Benepali inflammation is right down but have recently developed what I think is called swan neck finger which locks, anyone else having this problem, if so what have you done about it?

    Hello!

    Is that the same thing as trigger finger ? Where your fingers lock and you have to use your other hand to unlock it ... I have had that in four fingers, currently three right now, I had surgery on one finger and it was a success.....but very recently developed more, I will ask doctor if I can do surgery on the other fingers.... I hate when I use my hand for something and my fingers lock ... Coral 😊🇺🇸🏝

      Hi, no its slightly different, my finger bends the other way a bow shaped and locks and like you say you have to unlock it, I am buying a oval eight splint its like two v shaped rings fits over the knuckle and prevents locking, you can look it up online swan neck finger RA, and oval eight splints, I think the oval 8 splint works for trigger finger also.
