Swapping 40mg Citalopram to 20mg Duloxetine

Hi All,

I was on 40mg of citalopram for years but recently after an ecg test I'm unable to continue with it. to be honest I still had mild anxiety on it anyway.

The doctor has now switched me over to 20mg duloxetine which I have been taking for 2 days now.

I think I'm feeling more anxious and quite apprehensive about how I will be with the journey I have ahead of me.

I also have a dry mouth and bit of an upset stomach.

my next appointment with doctor is in 3 weeks time to see how I am getting on.

anyone had a similar experience of this swap and how did you get on please?
