Sweating Covid

Posted , 2 users are following.

Evening All,

I am now into my 5th day of covid.

I've had the sore throat which isn't so bad now.

I've had a cough on and off (worse in the night)

Headaches were there but not so much.

Breathing been OK (Touch Wood)

Light Headed first few days (not so much now)

I am now sweating a lot. I've been hydrating and keeping fluids down me.

Could the sweating be a sign that it's fighting the fever off and Covid possibly going?

hi aaron, i hope you're doing ok now. unfortunately, sweating (esp night sweats) is a symptom of omicron. when i caught it back in may, i used to wake up drenched in it. and of course, sweating is a sign that your fever is breaking too, and your body is fighting the infection off. feel better soon 😃

Thank you for your reply. very kind of you. I got a negative test Friday.

BUT that doesn't mean the symptoms are not still there.

I still feel fatiuged and a bit dazed. Will take it very steady day by day.
