Swelling

I had the PCNL tube removed today. Now it's swollen around the area. Is this normal

    I think you mean a stent?

    I would not worry too much unless it looks infected.

    I had pcnl at beginning of December last year.

    Stent was in for a week and I was in hospital for that week.

    All is fine now.

      I still have a stent.  They removed the nephrostomy tube the day I left the hospital.  It is swelling around that area.  The swelling goes down then swells up again.  Hoping it is just from the actual surgery.
