Hi I am Steve I'm new to this group and looking for some advise. I had a total hip replacement on my right side with the Mako robotic hip replacement method 10 weeks ago. Things have been progressing very well and my recovery has been very much problem free. I have very good movement and virtually no pain I am able to sleep on either side and can walk without sticks. However over the last couple of days I have been having some swelling and tenderness around the top of the femur and in my buttock. As it has been the Christmas holidays I have been sat down more than normal. and also took our dogs out for the first time since the operation so it could be a combination of this but just wanted others thoughts
