I had Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery on Left Hand 2 wks ago. Stitches & soft cast off week 1. I'm noticing a larger bulge/swelling at incision site & new bruising about 1 inch below swollen round lump. Is this normal?

It sounds like you have minor bleeding going on. Go to the doctor and get it checked out. It isn't normal 2 weeks post op.
One week post op, I put Mederma on my wound, covered it with a large bandaide every night for two weeks. Now one month post op. my scar is looking really good. Still reddened and sore, but the scar will be minimal once it's fully healed up. Even my numbness is getting better and he said might be 6 months for that to return. So I'm pleased so far with my outcome.
