Swelling of hands

My habds keep swelling up and get extremely hot. It is possible it could be Arthritis. Whe i put my hands under cold water the swelling recedes. Anyone suffering from a similar problem.

    Is there any activity you have in your life which could cause this?  If you have no reason for this to be happening you need to consult a doctor.

      I play a lot of golf, but have done for 35 yrs. I have 2 yrs ago been diagnosed with Prephial Nueropathy. However i feel neither are connected. Yes you are right I should go and see my GP which easier said than done. It does seem to get worse when I have been drinking Red wine. So I will monitor that
