Swelling under one side of tongue

Has anyone experienced swelling to one side underneath the tongue combined with ear pain on the same side? I get swelling under my arms which I think is common with cfs and I think this may be similar. I have had it before since being diagnosed with cfs but have not previously put it down to the illness.  I am very over tired so I think this may just be another symptom. Does anyone know?

Its the area under my tougue.  Kind of looks swollen compared with the other side.  Really hurts to eat, talk and swallow.  Ear is really painful too.  Ive just taken ibuprofen in the hope that it may ease the swelling.

I'm experiencing swollen gland on my left side. I've never experienced this before in life, earlier during the week I did have a sore throat on that side, and felt like I was getting sick. But it went away, and this came. Should I be worried? I'm going to see my primary care doctor today
