I had swelly belly for about a year after my vaginal hysterectomy, it was annoying, it was explained to me as being like a sprained ankle and the fluid (swelling) surrounding that is to protect the tissue inside, which made perfect sense.

I had a radical hysterectomy a year ago and still feel like I've got swelly belly it's really getting me down as I was always a size 10/12 but now I'm buying 14's but I am 47 and I suppose my body is going to change with the menopause
